Olivia Triplett, PhD
Alumni

Olivia (Liv) earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Loma Linda University’s School of Behavioral Health. Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, she earned a B.S. in biology with a minor in organization and performance psychology from The Ohio State University.

Liv’s research focused on modifiable health behaviors—such as diet, exercise, sleep, and screen time—that contribute to the onset of chronic physical diseases, including Type 2 Diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. She was particularly interested in studying these lifestyle factors among child and adolescent populations at heightened risk for these conditions. Her dissertation examined the mediating effects of diet, physical activity, and screen time on obesity among adolescents experiencing insufficient sleep.

In her free time, Liv enjoyed dancing, traveling, learning languages, and spending time with her twin sister, Raine.
