Albert Ly is a 4th year Ph.D. student in the Clinical Psychology program at Loma Linda University. His research interests center around the reduction and elimination of health disparities and inequities for underserved and culturally diverse populations. As part of the PHBL, he is currently investigating the role of environmental factors that exacerbate poor sleep quality among families in the Inland Empire. Clinically, Albert is interested in promoting health behavior change in chronic disease management within integrated primary care settings, as well as the assessment and treatment of psychological sequalae in chronic medical presentations. He earned his B.A. in Psychology at the University of California, Riverside. A SoCal native, Albert enjoys spending his free time trying new foods, going on outdoor walks and hikes, and exploring historical sites.
